HOP_2014LogoSalt Lake City, Utah based Human Outreach Project (HOP) received a $10,000 donation from KÜHL to support their mission to empower local people to gain a broader education and better health while maintaining their culture and way of life. Helping trekkers give back to the communities in which they travel, the HOP identifies local needs and creates a collaborative effort to contribute sustainable solutions. Since 2007 the HOP has focused its efforts on children in Africa, Nepal, and South America and veterans in Utah with sustainable donations including dental and hygiene supplies, gifts and groceries, microscopes and sewing machines, water wells, electrical towers, and cows to provide milk. HOP_Group Dean Cardinale, founder of HOP, said, “KÜHL has been tremendously generous in their support of our mission at the Human Outreach Project, donating substantial financial contributions and supporting us with some of the best gear around. We are deeply thankful for their support in helping us carry out our mission of helping others worldwide. Our planet, Helping others, Changing lives. Thank you, KÜHL.” HOP_Jeep Every year KÜHL makes donations to organizations that share our values to defend human rights and preserve wilderness. We’re happy to support Dean and Human Outreach Project in 2016.
