Stacy & Brandon are Pacific North Wanderers. Both transplants to Washington state, they spend their free time outdoors exploring, hiking, and camping all across the glorious Pacific Northwest. They started Pacific North Wanderers in 2015 to share their adventures and inspire others to enjoy the outdoors.
What makes you a KÜHL kid? How do you live the mountain culture?
Being raised in Florida and Colorado, respectively, we both grew up spending a great deal of time outdoors. We continue to have a great respect and love for the nature that surrounds us.
If you could adventure anywhere in the world for a week or two, where would you go?
The Pyramids of Egypt.
What’s your most memorable adventure?
Together we backpacked in and camped on one of Washington’s wild shores: Shi Shi Beach. It was a muddy and tedious hike. Falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves and awakening to a gorgeous sunrise over the Pacific Ocean made it well worth the journey.
What’s your worst habit?
Brandon: always forgetting to bring gloves.
Stacy: being too direct.
Who inspires you?
Most recently, Eddie Izzard. He ran 27 marathons in 27 days to raise money for an international charity for the poorest communities in the world. Crazy impressive!
What’s your favorite food and drink after an adventure?
Cheese enchiladas and beer.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Time travel. Going back to a time before all the goliath trees were felled. Being surrounded by those giants and experiencing that awe.
What song makes you most stoked to play hard?
Stacy: most any old school hip hop
Brandon: Sail by AWOLNATION
What’s hot/what’s not?
What the fastest speed you’ve ever gone under your own power, assisted by gravity?
Terminal velocity when skydiving
What’s your favorite thing about KÜHL?
Great styling and comfort. Clothing really made for enjoying the outdoors.
