Different by design, construction and features, the KÜHL WOMEN'S ARKTIK™ DOWN PARKA is distinctively KÜHL. The ARKTIK SERIES combines unique fabrics, precision design, and KÜHL's signature hallmarks to deliver technical performance and unparalleled style.
The W'S ARKTIK DOWN PARKA features waxed body fabric that withstands rain and snow and is peached for a soft hand. Italian faux leather micro suede trim creates a distinctive look and reinforces stress points. The responsibly sourced (certified non-force-fed/not ‘live-plucked’) 800-fill goose down provides a superior warmth-to-weight ratio.
The removable faux fur hood brim is reinforced with flexible wire, while cord lock adjustments provide a custom fit. When you don’t need it, the signature 5-panel hood lays flat. The Dani KÜHL crest patch on left sleeve and unique high gauge stitching add style. Webbing detail provides snap reinforcement, and the interior waist drawcord adjusts for a form fit. Shearling fleece and extended inner cuffs with KÜHL signature thumb loops seal out cold.
The W'S ARKTIK DOWN PARKA features 2 zippered hand warmer pockets and an interior zippered pocket. Two snap closure front pockets provide additional storage. Tested to more than 10K pulls, the Metaluxe™ 2-way center front zipper looks like metal at one-third the weight. Hitting below the hip, the W’S ARKTIK DOWN PARKA provides full coverage.
Perfect for arctic conditions and activities. Take the ARKTIK SERIES on your next Alaskan adventure, Antarctic expedition, or wherever winter leads you.

I found the warmth I was seeking in the women's Kuhl Arktik parka. My dedication to trying it on before purchasing it paid off however as the waist cinch in the medium size ended up being Way High up into my ribs so I chose a large being a 5-foot 550 lb athletic female.( Note: I have a small torso length so the cinch's fit was even more of a surprise.) It is a lot of coat for my body type but having the Cinch closer to my waist made all the difference in the world. Unfortunately it means I cannot get my hands to the bottom of the side pockets because the coat is so long. Another opportunity I have identified is the hood's cinch hardware would likely work better if it was flipped 180 degrees so that the side you jam it into is up instead of down because the hood consistently on cinches itself. I love that you can zip on and off the furry accessory on the hood and often use this feature, especially if it's a rainy day but cold. I also really enjoy the thumbhole feature and being able to unroll the Cuffs to extend the arms in the cold weather. The hood is also nice and cozy and does great at blocking out the cold. Thank you for creating this jacket and I hope this feedback gives the design team solid ideas of how to make it an even better jacket!

I live in Minnesota, so there is always a period of winter that drops below zero. And I take the bus everywhere. This is the best money I have ever spent for winter - everything covered by this parka is warm during my walks to the bus stop and the 5-10 minutes I wait for the bus during transfers. The hood is huge which means it easily fits over any hat I decide to wear, and it fits over my hair in a ponytail if I decide not to wear a hat - and still keeps my head warm without a hat on. The construction of this parka is perfect. I've always enjoyed winter until it drops below zero. With this parka, I'm starting to enjoy all of winter!! If you're looking for something really warm, this is what you're looking for - it's well worth every penny!!

This coat was a huge splurge for me, but was the warmest and most stylish option in REI. I needed a coat for the miserable arctic winters in Wisconsin and have been so thankful for this jacket keeping me toasty every single day! It looks expensive, goes with everything, covers most of my legs, and most importantly I do not look like a marshmallow. I have the Carbon color and it is much prettier in person than the pictures here. The color is warmer in tone and is not as shiny as it looks online. The huge hood can ward off the windchill and the thumb sleeves and roll down cuffs are a nice touch if you forget gloves. My favorite feature is the giant foot long pockets that eliminate my need to ever carry a purse in the winter. They can seriously carry a ridiculous amount of stuff. My only complaint stems from my cat who easily punctured a hole in the fabric that is difficult to discreetly sew up due to the fabric's smooth and solid appearance. 10/10 would buy again, although I see this coat lasting for many many years!

I have truly never seen a cuter, warmer, comfier jacket. I am SUPER picky about jackets and this one is just superb. I am 5'5", 118 lbs, 36B. I have a Small in the Rekon jacket but got a Medium in the Arktik jacket to have lots of layering room because I have broad shoulders. This jacket is very light weight, does not pull down on your shoulders, it is super warm (got it just in time for the rainy snowy mix we have had here in the Pacific Northwest all weekend!) The sleeves are LONG ENOUGH for my monkey arms, which I can't often say about outerwear! Just love this jacket; highly recommend. Oh, I got the Raven color, love the mixed black and brown!

I love this coat. I've had it for three weeks and was very happy with my purchase. But this morning's commute really put it to the test. I walk along Boston harbor to and from work each day. There is no subway option.... this morning the temp was 6 degrees with 50 mph wind gusts, wind chill -20. I was warm. It looks good, is comfortable, not bulky at all. And it looks sensational.
REPLY FROM KÜHL®: Thank you! We bet you looked sensational, and **felt that way as well**. At KUHL, we say "Style matters." What we mean is, some companies focus on performance, some on style. We focus on doing it well, with style. Style is...it's about how you do it. It's not just that you skied the Y Couloir, it's also how you skied it! Cheers!

I live in Fairbanks, it was -30 degrees Fahrenheit, and this jacket kept me warm and cozy. I purchased a large, I'm 5’5”, and curvy, the medium fit, however I wanted room to layer. I love that the decorative fur on the sleeves can be rolled down to cover almost your entire hand. This jacket also offers an excellent range of motion.

Loved the coat, very warm, well made - great design - but I'm only 5'1" and it was just too much coat for me. Even returned for a smaller size. SO I was very disappointed.
Great product. (See above)
Pockets are a bit deep in the front. Quality is great. Parka is definitely Warm and comfortable.\nI have used it to ice skate and it's definitely for me a sporty yet fashionable parka. It's a great go to parka, for city or the mountains.\nI would recommend it to anyone who wants to look good and stay warm too.
Didn't have long enough sleeves and too tight in shoulders
Love the cost lots of great features. Never got cold in 14 degrees snowmobiled for hours
The parka will be used during winter's coldest days and kept in my truck for emergencies, I'd recommend the product to anyone living in cold climates, and the quality is excellent...expensive but a good value.
