The KÜHL W'S JETSTREAM™ TRENCH is a lightweight, high performance rain jacket made with AIRSKAPE™ fabric. This waterproof/breathable fabric boasts a 20K waterproof rating, 16K water vapor transportation, and a 2.5 layer 15 micron thick hydrophilic PU laminate with blue pearl finish.
AIRSKAPE™ fabric has a clear hydrophilic membrane which absorbs and spreads out moisture allowing the fabric to dry faster. The pearl backer darkens as the water disperses before evaporating allowing you to see the technology working. The face is a woven nylon ripstop for mechanical stretch and strength. The surface has a soft hand and is extremely lightweight. All seams have been fully sealed, and the low profile, stretch cuffs seal out cold and wet. The YKK zippers are water resistant. The right pocket converts into a stuff sack with a reflective ribbon loop.

I agree with every 5 star review, however I'm coming from a petite frame perspective; this jacket does NOT FIT my 5'2" frame. I wear this nearly EVERY DAY in rainy Oregon and I love this piece of genius apart from the poor fit. My jacket is the same in every regard, however I bought mine in 2016 and it DOES NOT have a two way zipper, which would go a long way in making the ill fit more wearable (hip to waist distance is disproportionate on me). I would LOVE zip pits in this jacket because I even wear this hiking. The MEN"S Impakt jacket has a fantastic feature I would love to see in this jacket - a mesh zip option down the front for ventilation. PLEASE - contact me when you have the jacket in a petite cut with two way zipper, pit zips and a mesh panel zip option, like the guys version. This is my first ever KUHL purchase and I'd be thrilled to come back for a better fit and function!

I am a picky rain coat wearer, and just recently purchased this jacket after doing a lot of research. I live on Vancouver Island, Canada where we get crazy west coast storms. I am also a mom of 2 little ones which means rain or shine, we still head outside. This jacket is awesome because Kuhl has thought of all the small things: A drawstring for the hood to keep it on your head in the wind, sewn so that if your coat is zipped all the way up you can still get the hood up separately. Long enough so that it covers your bum and you can sit on wet surfaces. Lightweight and roomy so that you can layer a fleece or sweater underneath on cold days. The stretch cuff and high collar make you feel more cozy than the traditional rain coat. I was just outside in a storm running through the grocery store parking lot in 90 km/hr wind and driving rain - this coat rocks!!

I love it. Bought it primarily for travel since it is so lightweight and packs so small. Now I believe I will wear it anytime I expect to be outside in rainy or windy conditions. It's just fabulous. Put a light sweater under it and it keeps you warm. Use a moisture wicking tee under it and its breathability keeps you comfortable. It also blocks the wind as well as any garment I own. I spent all day fishing for salmon in the Scottish Highlands, and this jacket moved with me on every cast. Only problem: there are no care instructions. I scrubbed with some gentle laundry soap to get out the fish smell from handling my beautiful catch. But I'm afraid to put it in the washer lest I damage the waterproofing.

I've had this jacket a couple of years and it's great on both land and sea. I love the length of this jacket when I need to be out on the boat deck in inclement weather and when going ashore in a dinghy, because I don't get a wet "bottom" ;-) when sitting on an already wet surface...and it is much more stylish than the typical foul weather marine jackets!

I love this jacket. It is so versatile.
I will use this coat as everyday rain gear because where I live the rain is a serious element much of the year. I will recommend it to everyone, even if we all end up wearing the same coat. It's pricey but if I stay dry, its worth every penny. Thanks
WOW! I love this jacket. Perfect material. Light and packs nice. Great look and feel.
I loved this light weight rainproof wind breaker
