Discover the extinct

KÜHL Ambassador and wildlife biologist Forrest Galante uncovers evidence that animals declared extinct might still be alive in his hit show "Extinct or Alive." He travels around the world, following eye witness accounts and photographs to find animals that have long been written off as dead. Moving through treacherous terrain and different ecosystems requires the right gear. Forrest's African upbringing, formal education, understanding and respect for animals has earned him an international reputation and makes him one of KÜHL's favorite people to watch on TV today.

We caught up with Forrest to find out which KÜHL products he recommends for adventures into the wild.

Packing for the extreme

Comfortable, flexible and durable, a pair of KÜHL Radikl Pants is always on his adventure packing list because of the hybrid material which allows him to move quickly through the bush.

Airspeed short sleeve and Airspeed long sleeve shirts are a must-have since they are light, breathable and can endure all the thorns and sticks, and the color does not stand off.

If you are heading to a tropical ecosystem without a Jetstream rain pant and jacket, you're going to have a bad time. They are truly the only lightweight rain apparel that has not got completely drenched through in tropical downpours

Forrest always wears his Spyfire jacket when he travels to a cold environment.

"I live in that thing and have since episode 1 back in Tasmania in 2015!"

Finally, his Arktik down parka attributed to keeping him alive in the harsh weather of the frozen arctic of south Newfoundland and the Faroe Islands.
