We are a growing business in need of an Ecommerce Merchandiser who will deliver an outstanding shopping experience by ensuring the website is easy to shop and customers can easily find the products they need and love. This is an exciting opportunity to innovate and integrate marketing campaigns with real time conversion goals and data-driven merchandising strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall presentation of product and brand initiatives, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring the most relevant products are prioritized throughout the customer journey. We work in a fast-paced environment that occasionally requires quick turnarounds and/or sudden shifts in project priorities, so flexibility and grace is critical for success in this position. Job Responsibilities:

  • Directly control and manage online merchandise presentation to ensure proper categorization, imagery, product copy, pricing, site prioritization and promotions are accurate and meet brand standards.
  • Create weekly, monthly and seasonal merchandising strategy in coordination with the marketing and supply chain teams to ensure executional readiness and inventory availability.
  • Influence content distribution schedule for web and email teams, in accordance with seasonal merchandising strategy.
  • Coordinate all merchandising strategies with retail team
  • Understand the dynamics of the digital marketing and ecommerce ecosystem and extract key trends, topics and content themes that will help us engage our target audience and drive conversions.
  • Optimize consumer experience through data driven decisions, make suggestions, plan, implement, and execute improvements to improve overall conversion rates.
  • Conduct site audits and gap analyses, present findings weekly and monthly to recommend improvements to current processes and procedures.
  • Develop and implement calls-to-action and promotional placements to hit target KPI’s.
  • Prepare and present daily/weekly reporting for company leadership.
  • Understand consumer buying trends and categorical seasonality in an evolving industry.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and project owners
  • Accept constructive feedback on a regular basis and use it to grow and improve
  • Have a positive respectful attitude and willingness to learn from others on the team
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product and Sales, to fully optimize online customer experience.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
  • Assist other marketing team members to accomplish their strategic initiatives as needed, including: product copy, email copy, social media copy, ad copy, website copy, print and digital assets + more


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-4 years of experience
  • Detail oriented with excellent project management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrable track record of defining and executing highly effective D2C merchandising initiatives.
  • Metrics-driven, with a relentless focus on user experience and increasing conversion rates, while promoting new products or product collections in alignment with current marketing initiatives.
  • Experience operating within an omni-channel environment, ensuring consistent shopping experiences for customers online and in-store.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience managing consumer facing, e-commerce shopping platforms in related industries (outdoors, consumer electronics, tech, etc.) such as, but not limited to: Shopify, Magento, Demandware, WooCommerce, WordPress, or others
  • Proficiency coordinating with a variety of brand stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Expertise in digital marketing, online retail or merchandising or a combination of both education and experience.
  • Understanding of SEO concepts
  • Experience working in an agile marketing environment
  • Experience working for creative agency or in-house marketing/creative team

Experience: Ecommerce merchandising: 3-4 years

Education: Bachelor's
