Dealer Service Representative

KÜHL is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate individual to add to our Dealer Service Team. As a member of the KÜHL Dealer Service team, you will be expected to provide a wide variety of dealer and rep support to our retailers, buyers, customers, fellow co-workers and outside sales representatives. <br> We are hardworking, quick thinking, and the resident experts of all things KÜHL. Dealer Service Representatives at KÜHL Clothing are responsible for retail dealer support, order taking/management, and return authorizations. This position support and works with our independent sales representatives and provides the highest level of customer and dealer support that truly is “Born in the Mountains”.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Order Management – Entering, Scheduling, Confirmation and Adjustments.
  • Oversight and management of assigned sales territory working in conjunction and support of the independent sales representative in that area.
  • Answer dealer/sales representative emails, phone calls and other inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Provide timely answers to questions, trouble shooting, warranty issues.
  • Proactively communicate issues that affect product delivery to dealers, buyers, sales reps, and the KÜHL Sales Team.
  • Work with dealers and sales reps to modify orders, ship windows and provide accurate lead times, estimated ship-dates and detailed information to KÜHL dealers regarding back-ordered product.
  • Work with EDI partners to set up and maintain order receipt, invoice processing, and other information/functions.
  • Work closely with production or accounting to answer dealers and sales reps’ questions/concerns.
  • Stay up to date on current style inventory position and product availability. Answer inventory related questions and produce available-to-sell reports using FullCircle inventory management computer system.
  • Process product returns and exchanges in a timely manner with appropriate follow-up communication.
  • Warranty assessment, processing and communication following KÜHL’s predetermined warranty and exchange guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • Previous customer or dealer service experience.
  • Customer-oriented attitude, with a strong desire to go above and beyond the needs of our dealers and customers.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in customer/dealer service and/or sales
  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • Strong telephone, email, and computer skills including proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel (EDI experience a plus)
  • Strong inter-personal communication skills and ability to resolve complex issues with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a desire to proactively address issues.
  • Must be able to multitask and excel in a fast-paced, high-workload environment.
  • Experience in the retail side of the Outdoor Industry a plus.
  • Work 40+ hours per week
