Lara Fisher is an inaugural member of the KÜHL Women’s Masters Cycling Team. She's been married to KÜHL cyclist Mark Fisher for 24 years and currently resides in Sandy, Utah. What makes you a KÜHL kid? How do you live the mountain culture? I've always been involved in sports, maybe not at a super high level, but just as a way of life. My parents got me started on skis when I was 1 1/2 years old. After that it was just what we did every weekend. Through the years I have kept skiing and added hiking, rock climbing and biking to the list. I can’t imagine life any other way. What’s your most memorable adventure? I will never forget a 10-day family trip. We rented classic heavy dutch bikes, filled the panniers with the bare necessities and hit the road. We had no schedule and no reservations. We stopped whenever something interesting caught our eye. It was a great time. larafisher_family If you could adventure anywhere in the world for a week or two, where would you go? I would like to see the Northern Lights while skiing from hut to hut in Sweden, and I wouldn’t say no to a night in an ice hotel. Who inspires you? My Dad. He has worked incredibly hard his whole life and has managed to have some amazing adventures along the way. Even though he is 82 and could be relaxing, he still mows the lawn, chops firewood, skis, and collects mushrooms. larafisher_father What's your favorite piece of gear? My bike, an Ibis Hakalugi, the black and white one. What song makes you most stoked to play hard? Happy by Pharrell Williams always makes me smile. I’ve been told that things hurt 40% less while you smile. It’s worth a try, isn’t it? What’s your favorite food and drink after an adventure? I love all food and drink after an adventure, but a little chocolate never hurts. Do you have any pets? Do you take them on your adventures? Yes, Augie is my old Chocolate Lab. His next adventure will be a 5-week road trip. He will be our sidekick at cyclocross races in the Midwest and on the East Coast. larafisher_augie What's the worst injury you sustained from adventuring? I had a bike wreck after a near miss with a buffalo. I got to go to the ER; the buffalo walked away. If you could have any superpower, what would it be? I would control the weather! How great would that be? Rain for cross races, snow once I'm up Little Cottonwood Canyon, wind when the mosquitos are out…. What’s your favorite thing about KÜHL? The clothes! They look good, feel good, and make me happy. What’s your favorite piece of KÜHL clothing?  I love my charcoal grey A-line skirt in a stretchy fabric. I've had it for years ,and I still wear it all the time. I wish I'd bought one in every color...
