Awesome shorts!
As a tropical fish importer and wholesaler I deal with a hot, humid and often wet work place. My Kuhl Renegade shorts are great in that environment. The are the perfect blend of business casual and sporty performance. I love them so much, I also bought a few pairs of Renegade pants and shirts - all awesome. I love this brand and highly recommend the Renegade line, as well as all there clothing, almost all I wear now days. Yes the price is a little steep, but it's well worth it!

Awesome shorts!
As a tropical fish importer and wholesaler I deal with a hot, humid and often wet work place. My Kuhl Renegade shorts are great in that environment. The are the perfect blend of business casual and sporty performance. I love them so much, I also bought a few pairs of Renegade pants and shirts - all awesome. I love this brand and highly recommend the Renegade line, as well as all there clothing, almost all I wear now days. Yes the price is a little steep, but it's well worth it!

Best. Shorts. Ever. Honestly.
I got a pair of these about a year back and getting a pair was the biggest mistake, as I where I live they don't sell Kuhl and I've wanted to buy another pair ever since. These shorts fit so well because the material stretches ever so slightly, making a belt unnecessary. The oversized stud clips the shorts on and they stay on. I have been wearing these shorts at least 2-3 times a week (whenever I go biking) for a year and they're still as good as they were on Day 1. Well done Kuhl, you guys are RAD! . Awesome.

Renegade, Best Short Ever!
My search for the perfect short is over! So long I have been looking for a short that is light, breathable, flexible, tough and looks good. I found the Renegade short and bought the last 3 on the shelf. Working in a wholesale vegetable market, in a sub tropical climate, I need to look presentable for my clients and something that's tough enough to withstand jumping on and off forklift trucks, in and out of trucks, general wear and tear AND to keep cool. I have spilt so many pairs of shorts from bending over, picking things up and moving in all directions at pace. Not anymore thanks to the Renegade's 4 way stretch. The Renegade is everything I need in a short.Thank you thank you thank you. This is, the best short ever! December 6th 2012

Best. Shorts. Ever.
I've been highly critical of Kuhl pants in the past: all those silly and gimmicky doo-dads and excessive use of logos... But the Renegades, IMHO, are the BEST shorts ever! Yesterday, for example, I climbed all day in these shorts. I found them to be lightweight and breathable, stretchy for the hard moves, durable for sitting at belays, well-fitting for wearing well under a harness. And stylish? Afterwards I simply brushed off the climbing chalk, added a collared shirt and wore them for post-climbing Mexican food and beers. And I'm looking forward to wearing the Renegades as my only pair of shorts for an upcoming trip to Belize. These are damn-near perfect do-everything shorts! [Most people see our logo use as VERY low key, but thanks for coming around full circle on the Renegade Shorts.~ Kuhl]

Renegade Shorts
I think it's a good sign if I have to throw away clothes because I wore them out rather than grew tired of them. That I keep buying Kuhl is evidence that I am satisfied with their endurance. The four way stretch in this fabric sets these shorts apart from any others I have owned. They conform beautifully whether you're in tight situations or just walking. They dry fast. I use the zipper pocket to secure my phone. I'm on my second pair, still a lot of life left in my first but I can't risk not being able to get them.

HOW TO MEASURE:
Neck: Measure around the base of your neck.
Chest/Bust: Measure fullest part of chest/bust, under arms and across shoulder blades.
Waist: Measure around waist where you normally wear your pants.
Hip: Standing with feet together, measure around fullest part of seat.
Sleeves: With arms relaxed at sides and slightly bent, measure from center back across shoulder point to elbow and down to wrist.
Inseam: Take a pair of pants that fit well and measure from crotch to the bottom of the leg along the inseam.

The Born Free Gusseted Crotch is an added fabric panel inserted in the pant leg and crotch area. It adds extension to the range of motion for the pant. This design element aids hikers in crag hopping and climbers in pulling off bouldering maneuvers.

Kuhlair™
With multiple mesh vents, our Kühl-air-flow technology reduces perspiration and keeps your skin cooler for improved comfort and performance.
UPF
The Ultraviolet Protection Factor (or “UPF”) rating system measures the UV protection provided by fabric. It is very similar to the SPF rating system used for sunscreens. A fabric rated UPF 30 is blocking 96.7% UV; UPF of 50 blocks 98% of the UV radiation. Skin cancer risk can be reduced with effectively limiting the amount of exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet light spectrum.
Free Ryde Waist
Another hallmark of Kühl design, this feature incorporates the Kühl Yoke Waistband –it follows the natural contour of the human body. The hips rise in the back and so should your pant! The Free Ryde Waist provides a contour fit to keep the pant in place as you move! The Free Ryde Waist also has a longer length from belt top to crotch for extra room to extend your range during crag hops and bouldering maneuvers.
Fiocchi™ Snap
These imported Italian snaps found on our pants lay flat against the body with no stem to dig into your waist. The Kühl Fiocchi™ Snap has been custom engineered to increase the closure strength.
