A coating added to fabrics at the factory to make them water-resistant or hydrophobic. Water will bead up, and, whoosh—slide right off. DWRs are vulnerable to deterioration. Effectiveness is affected by rubbing and can be "masked" by dirt and oils. Washing and then drying at medium heat for 15 minutes revives DWR. After many washes, applying after-market DWR will add life to your Kühl garment DWR properties.
Originally developed in Italy, this high quality double dye process will naturally fade with age, exposure and wash. These experiences create authentic character and a weathered appearance that echoes your own. Follow care instructions: For best results launder with garment inside out in cold water and use mild detergent.
