Ordered this bag before I saw all of the reviews saying MacBook Pro 16 inch would not fit in the outer apartment but could fit only on the inside. I was prepared to immediately send this back but tested it out once it showed up and it does fit in the outer laptop pocket, but it’s just a little bit tight. However, it is not so tight that I think it will wear and rip the zippers. So thankfully, I am keeping this bag and did not need to return it. I have had four Timbuk2 bags over the years and was looking for something different and slightly larger which this bag delivers on. I love the quality and slightly larger size, especially the waterproof material and taped zippers. There are plenty of pockets on the outside and the inside of the bag as well as a couple pen holders inside the main apartment. While the bag cost quite a bit more, it is also a nice step up from what I’ve used previously. I will miss the adjustable strap from my old bag, but the Timbuktu straps also accidentally come loose all the time and you almost drop your bag. This one simple enough to adjust and will not slip accidentally. Overall, great investment and very happy with this bag. I do wish that they would make a slightly larger bag to more easily accommodate current popular laptops. If this thing we’re just a half an inch taller and wider in the laptop compartment I’d give it a five star rating no question.

The Eskape pairs perfectly with a nice carry-on spinner bag for international travel. So much so that the flight attendant admired it while I was boarding my most recent flight. There are duffels with trolly straps, but the leaner cut of this bag discourages over-packing.

Great Messenger Bag!
Amazing bag! I have loved this bag so far. The blue interior allows ease in finding items in the bag. The magnetic closure on the front flap is a great innovation. The three dividers in the laptop section are awesome to house my iPad, laptop, etc. The construction is solid and the water resistant exterior is the icing on the cake.
