I've owned a lot of backpacks and even have the Kuhl Messenger bag and this is the best backpack I've ever owned. It's kind of Kuhl because I've had it for a couple of weeks and keep figuring out new things about it. It's much like the messenger bag but larger for when you need it (travel), messenger is great for work but this is good for a flight. Love everything about it, just found the secret compartment to hide my airtag. I loved that with my messenger and just figured it out with this bag. The ONLY thing I would change about this bag is the laptop / tablet compartment. All the other main compartments have a dual heavier duty zipper, the laptop compartment has only a single zipper that's good, but just slightly less sturdy than the other compartments. I use this compartment daily and if you have used this type of backpack for a laptop, you'll know that the dual zip on this compartment just works better. While at it, I would make it as heavy duty as the other two compartment zippers. I also love the black material. I had originally thought Kanvas as it looks Kuhl, but this looks much better in person than it does in pictures and cleans up easily. There are few brands in the world that can compare to the quality of Kuhl's products, like Yeti and Porsche, there is no substitute!!!!
