I tested these Splash Roll-up pants when guiding a few day hikes in our beautiful - but rugged at time - Canadian Rockies. I love how they are made of a durable fabric that will stand up to the wear and tear of my adventures in the wild. Other brands I have are breathable but often thin and easily damaged after sitting a couple times on a rock (I learned to use a seat pad..) or brushing a rock face. Another plus is how one can roll the pant legs up and use the snap button to keep each at the same height. I enjoy hiking with my pant legs rolled up (at times all the way to the knee) for more airflow but mountain weather can change quickly and I like the convenience of rolling the pant leg down if needing protection against the elements. Oh and I did I mention the front lap pocket for my cell phone for taking pictures and easily grabbing it or putting it away ? a great plus! The only thing that could be improved is the fabric stretch. Where I guide and play, we often go uphill to get to beautiful views - the other day 2700 ft of elevation gain - and I found them a tad restrictive around the knee when going uphill. Mind you, I could also choose a different pair.. Else they're super comfortable, breathable and one looks good in them so a great choice for outdoor enthusiasts! These Kuhl Pants are My Everyday Favorites
This is the fourth pair of Splash Roll-Up Pants that I've purchased from Kuhl. The pants fit me well and they are my go to pants for every day wear. The fabric of this latest pair seems somewhat heavier than previous purchases. The pants wear well and release stains easily. The bottom edge of the cuffs tend to fray after about a year of wear.

More colors please!!!
I’ve been buying these pants for at least 10 years. They’ve changed some, but they’re still my favorites. Recently, I tried a couple other styles to get some color variation, but didn’t like any of them near as much Please do more colors in the splash pants and longer shorts !!

After reading reviews I ordered a size larger plus my usual size. I could have worn the larger size but ultimately preferred the slightly more fitted look of my usual size. Kuhl are my favorite makers for pants. Always a flattering fit for real women with curves. These pants are great for playing outside, travel, and everyday life. Love them!

These pants are my go to for hiking, camping and search and rescue. They are extremely durable yet quick drying. They come in 34" inseam which I need. They do run small.
